Can anyone tell me why are guys slow on the uptake at times? Why can they be thoughtless about other ppl? And then how can they expect you to feel better aft they apologise when you get upset and he realised he's in the wrong?I mean....the damage is done already......and another thing........
WHY cant guys know or understand why a girl gets upset or angry??????? Especially when its right in front of their eyes? They have the nerve to ask, "whats wrong? why are you mad?" They are like so clueless when it comes to communication skills. Why do girls decide smth after giving some thinking bout what her partner will feel but guys do the exact opposite? Guys decide smt, gets his partner upset and then apologise aft she explains.
WHY WHY WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The End
Its ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're all gonna die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OKAY! That's a little dramatic. But yes, I have to face the terrible truth. Hols coming to an end.Its back to school...or rather uni.But I guess ts not as bad as last sem....the next sem will be 7 weeks of study and then a week break and then another 7 weeks then 2 months break...hey! Its better than school and work thats for sure. Lolz.
I got my results already a cgpa of 3.71.....I guess its alright...tho cant help feeling a teensiest bit of disappointment....aww....alright maybe not teensiest but a bit more than that. But well, nothing I can do bout it...hope my next sem will be much better...yeah! THATS THE SPIRIT!
but why oh why do I feel so mournful, lifeless all of a sudden? Sigh.

ITS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My final exam is finally over....7 weeks of holiday to do whatever I want...so far what i did was teach my sister Add Maths, went swimming and at the same time taught her friend how to swim...the funny thing is she knows how to SCUBA dive but she cant swim...pretty hilarious the first time she told me.
These days I get pretty cranky when someone interrupts my plans you know. I know some things cant be avoided and they just happen out of the blue and you cant exactly blame someone when the unexpected turns up....I mean logically thinking if they cant help it you're not suppose to get mad at them right? But i cant help getting pissed off.
Someone ask me out for coffee and tell me what's wrong with me.

Scuba Diving (Part 2)
Well, after learning the entry point now its time to talk about (or rather write about) what we do underwater...
Basically, we learn how to dive and control our buoyancy. But we are also taught wat to do in case some unfortunate events take place in the water. For example:
When someone accidentally kick your mask away from your face. First thing is to not panic....your buddy will most probably help you look for your mask and return it to you. Therefore, we were made to take out our masks underwater and hold it in our hand...but let me tell you, once you take off the mask you will start to panic..even tho its very shallow in the pool once the cold water hit your face,a sense of dread will follow. Therefore, we learned how to keep calm and breathe normall inhaling and exhaling through your mouth...afterall you still have your regulator. ut without the mask your nose is exposed to the stream of bubbles coming out from you through exhalation. For the first few times some of us managed to breathe without our mask while others choke when the bubbles accidentally enter the nose. Our instructor made us hold our mask in our hands for roughly 30sec. Then we wore back our masks which of course were filled with water. but before that we already learned how to clear our masks underwater.
Next is what happens when someone kicks the regulator our from your mouth and away from you? Well, this trick to recover the regulator is rather simple....there are two ways to do it but the more common one is to tilt our body to the right, swing out right hand to the back and then to the front again. The regulator will be retrieved.
What happens if you run out of air when you are 12m or more underwater? This is where your buddy comes in handy. Signal your buddy and give him the out-of-air signal which is like a gesture made with your hand slicing your throat. Your buddy will give his consent with an OK hand signal. You will move to his right where an alternate air source or sometimes known as the octopus. Take it and breathe from it. this means you will be sharing air with your buddy. Then by linking your hands, reach for the surface and ascend slowly. There are others methods to use if you run out of air but all depends on the condition whether it is an emergency or not.
So roughly these are what happens of accidents like that happen underwater. Other than that what we also learnt are the hand signals and how to dive correctly so that you can minimise energy usage and not harm wild aquatic life. Kinda cool lar learning scuba diving...hehe especially when you go with friends.

Prawn Fishing!
Alrighty, i've been fishing b4 but never prawn fishing...anyway Alvin took my to somewhere in Gelugot area for that. We paid RM10 for an hour...where they provide us with rods and bait...after that you can catch as many prawns and you can take them all home. They were fresh water prawns and they have claws like crab only longer, skinnier and smaller of course.
Alright so we cast the rod waited for 10 mins and Alvin caught the first one...we cant actually feel the tug on the rod unlike fishing but there is a float which was used as an indicator. It will bob on the surface of the water and if it suddenly submerge means someone's taking the bait...
i know i know watching a tiny float might souund all too boring but the excitement when u catch a prawn makes it all woth while. We waited another 15 mins but still not a single one....then I got a little frustrated and impatient. I told Alvin ," Come change place with me...your feng shui is chasing the prawn away.....blocking my luck...and what do you know...2 mins after that i caught one! A beauty....and then after another 5 mins I caught another one....how's that for instinct I ask you? Lolz....Alvin swears its a fluke and I told him fine change back....and yea....20 mins without a prawn. He got up obediently changed back his place like I told him too and waited.
And Thank God.....after jiggling the rod a little we caught another one.....haha.....i smirked right to his face while he pretends that unhooking the prawn needs 100% attention and ignores me. Oh yeah, those prawns can sorta pinch you with the claws tho they are small it hurts just a tiny bit i am sure but Alvin being a guy well.....you know...
Anyway I was beaming ear to ear. Alright ppl, I know you're thinking just prawns lar wei...no need so happy kua...but really I was thrilled...and like a 6 year old kid I proudly showed my paretns and my grandparents and my sister the prawns which were still alive when i got back....obviously I relate the trip to them which oft course I made it slightly more dramatic by adding the scene where I wrestle with the prawns...how the rod almost snap.....til my dad shut me up by saying.... those shrimps cant bend the rod lah. SHRIMPS!!!!!!!! I was indignant.prawns..the ones you get in Lorong Selamat fried Koay teow at RM 5.50.
Well, thats my tale on last night. Hope you enjoyed reading.

Scuba Diving
Last month I started doing some confined water training in a golf club in Bukit Jambul. It was the first time I actually use a gas tank to breathe air from.LEts start from the beginning shall we?
It started with me driving Mei Chen and i up to BJ. I was looking forward to my very first session in the water...heck I even went out to Gurney to buy a 2 piece swimsuit. When i got there I was told to enter a small room near the pool where all the diving equipment were being kept in there. Because of my near-to-microscopic size my instructor had a hard time gearing me up....since practically everything I need has to be in the SS or S category. I was given a wet suit whish fits me ok but not as snug as i would like it to be.The sleeves were til my elbow and the suit covers from my neck til my thighs. Then I went to choose a mask from a basket...we were already trained on how to find one that fits that is through a simple method of suck and fit. Where you hold the mask to ur face, sniff and hold ur breath and wriggle ur head fr side to side. If the mask does not fall off,u r good to go.
After that, I went to pick a pair of flippers or fins.....got a pair that fits me...the smallest pair there.I grabbed my weight and head outside of the room to a bench to place my stuff. Then I went back inside to find a BCD (buoyancy control device) that would allow me to float on water. Then i had to drag my gas tank to the bench so that I can set up my diving gear. Its a misconception when ppl call the gas tank an xygen tank. Its not full of oxygen but actually noml air that we breathe which compose mainly of nitrogen ad oxygen.
When we have collected all the equipment needed, we went to defog our masks. Which is simply rubbing a type of lubricant on the eyepiece and rinsing off with water.
There are many steps to follow when setting up the gear...first we have to connect the BCD to the tank which is a little bit difficult at first. The proceudre is somewhat hard to write down here but if u r interested come and see me and I'll be glad to show you how.then the regulator piece is fixed onto the tank and BCD. The regulator piece consists of 2 stages where the first stage connects from the regulator and the low pressure inflator to the gas tank. The second stage is connected to the BCD. Each diver will have a buddy or a partner. On that particular day, Su Yee was my buddy. Since the gas tank was rather heavy, he suggested I help him suit up first so that he can hold my tank while I adjust my gear. Therefore, as we were taught, I placed one hand below the gas cylinder and on the count of three, helped him lift it up for him to wear his BCD.After clipping the buckles on it was his turn to assist me.
we heaved the BCD onto my back and I fasten the buckles...OMG! Its heavier than i expect...
When we were all ready, we were told to the predive checkup..to put it in short, BWRAF or Blue Whales Really Are Fun where
B - BCD
W- weights
R -regulator
A -airway,gauge metre
F-Fins
we take turns breathing tru each others alternate air source to make sure they are working and are free fr contaminated air. The alternate air source of octopus as itis fondly called is another piece of regulator attached to a diver's chest in case ur buddy ran out of air and needs to share air with you.
We were taught how to enter the water. There are 4 different ways but the one most commonly used is the Big Straddle. It is where u stand near the water edge and take a big step forward with left hand holding the low pressure inflator hose and the right holding ur mask. Well, we were given time to swim with our gear. It was quite hard to breathe throught the regulator at first cause u sorta like have to suck so air can fill ur lungs....but after an hour or so we got quite used to it.
I thinks this is enough for now..i will write more about my lessons some other day. For now, ciao!

After 6 Weeks
Whoa ppl out there, I'm sorry i havent been updating my blog.....been pretty busy with assignments, homework, study and falling sick....yea...a month there and I fell sick d.....
Life therre is pretty hectic once class starts. Even though we are first years we have many activities to do which required us to stay up late and wake up early such as the school's orientation last last weekend resulting in me not being able to go home. Let me tell you bout the orientation.
School of Material and Mineral Resources Engineering Orientation
It lasted for 3 days. We were divided into 14 groups and i was in Group 10. The first night we were involved with many activities. We began by ice breaking and by knowing people in your own group. Then each group were given old newspaper, cellotape and were told to build futuristic human tower. So we dressed the guys and girls up with newspaper sticking at awkward positions....after half an hour, the 'towers' were told to move up to the stage...there were groans and moans at this cause some 'towers' consist of a few ppl stuck together making it hard to move down the steps from the seats and then up again to the stage......but nevertheless the rest of us was doubled up laughing at the various kind of structures...heck there was even transformers which we booed and said ciplak! There was a pyramid who has 4 legs sticking out from below the base walking up the stage....there ain no head.....the ppl were covered by the structure til their thighs. The pyramid walked up,trip over their own set of legs and fell....wat a riot. However they regain their postures and continue walking up....and once they reach the stage they say down with the pyramid covering them til no legs could be seen...just a triangular structure sitting on the floor.
The next day there was a talk and an Explorace....hmm.....is the spelling correct? We had to run here and there and perform ridiculus tasks from one place to another.....try this fellas....take 10 nails drive 1 nail onto a piece of wood. then try to balance all 9 nails on top of that nail without the help of anything. just use ur hands to arrange them...brainstorming ler.....the officer in charge were like...FUTURE ENGINEERS!THINK!
Other stuff to do in the race was singing the negaraku using funny lyrics.....count the number of stairs in the bilik kuliah...and they meant every bilik kuliah which has 15 of them.....so the no. of stairs is about 8000 smth.Phew...we only have 12 members in a group give and take...imagine the time we took to count all....and we actually missed a number and we got punished.....
Then half way tru it rained pretty heavily, we were drecnhed and cold.....and from the place we had the race we have ti run back to the hostel which is 20 mins away....so ooolala......can u imagine how it was for us...hehe.I think thats how i got sick.
The next day we had games like building your own country where u pick ur own prime minister or king and etc...then we have to draw our country's flag, give our country a name and draw out the map of our country. You should have hear what some groups come up with...it was hilarious.
then we had a gmae of Spider Web where a rubber band was tied with 6 long ropes.6 ppl have to holld on to the ropes and pull and move about. What we have to do is manouever the rubberband using only the ropes to fish out some items from a very small cup at the centre....so we were all like squatting down, take a step back or front, and try to fish out as many items as possible.
Well, for now these are the more interesting ones that I am happy to share with you guys....so there ya have it.
I still cant understand MAths.....growing to fear it.....statics and dynamics are alright....material engineering is ok and engineering drawing.....OMG...in that 4 hour class on friday is the day where when u say FUCK so loud the lecturer merely smile. There are cries of YA ALLAH, SHIT,DAMN,FUCK,KANASAI,OH MY GOD,TIEN AR.....CIBAI....and other colourful words. Hehe....it would be amusing to hear if not for the fact you feel frustrated, upset, angry, tired and hungry yourself.

USM Nibong Tebal
It was a wonderful place..tho I have to admit its hot over there. The place was big tho not as big as the one in Penang island. But still its situated on a large piece of land. The distance from my hostel to my faculty is about 20mins walk but the provide us with shaded pathway all the way.
My 7 days there were very hectic as my seniors drive us nuts with packed schedule with full of activities. In just a single day we have to walk to and fro from the hostel the spot where all faculties are situated far away.So roughly we have to walk around an hour each day with faster-than-normal speed. I bet if I were to go on a shopping spree with my mum,she won't be able to endure walking for long with me with my new pace.
There are many lecture halls about 9 for all the schools to use. Those are called Dewan Kuliah. Then there are 6 faculties of engineering namely:
Material and Minerals Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering,
Electric&electronic Engineering,
Civil Engineering
Chemical Engineering.
There are roughly 3ooo smth of us in first year. And most of us have CGPA of over 3.2. 75% of the lecturers here are PHD holders. What made me actually feel proud of being in USM is the spirit each of us have. Even tho we barely knew one another we actually cheered our loudest for our own school of engineering. And when our seniors are mean to any one of our members, and they ask the crowd whether they shoudl punish somoone, we will side with our members if we find that they are wrongly or overjudged. There was once one of the Civil Engineer fell asleep in one lecture and the senior sorta scolded him and wanted to punish him but we booed the senior and said that its perfectly normal. For we have to wake up around 6 smth and our lectures lasted til about 11 smth at night.
But of course, the long ours are only for the orientation week. Next week, my classes will be pretty alright with only 14 hours of tutorial and 4 hours of lab. And we also get to pick which foreign language we want to take up for free for a duration of 3 to 4 years depending on each individual. The languages offered are:
Spanish
Russian,
Arab,
Japanese,
Korean,
Thai,
German,
Chinese,
French
I'll be taking Japanese classes. We will learn how to write and converse. Its compulsory for us to take one foreign language so that we will have enough credits to graduate.
And another co-curricular activity I'll be takin will be SCUBA diving. We will learn it and obtain a certificate after one sem and a license after 3 sem.
What are the facilities they have there are as follows:
A Recreation Centre where we can rent courts for tennis, badminton, squash, and sepak takraw for only 50 cents an hour. There are of course many fields for football, netball, and etc.
A Medical Centre for sick students to go to. for minor health problems such as cold, cough, fever, food poisoning, the medication are for free. If there are any serious problems like fracture and serious illness, the doctor there will send the students to the nearby hospital where the fees will be covered by insurances provided.
A 4 storey library where we need a student smart card to enter. In fact every room, lab and buildings except the hostel needs us to swipe our smart card to enter. In fact all of us have a bank account in Bank Islam witch is also in the University compound. Our smart card also serves as an atm card.
There are 2 cafeterias. Selling malay food, chinese food, roti canai, burgers, drinks and oth food stuff. Food there are reasonable. There was once I ate rice with drumstick, vegetables,an egg, a limau ice and all of that only costs RM1.70.
Thats all for now, I'll be back almost every weekend provided I dun have SCUBA on Saturday.More updates next time.

Which One?????????
I got my public U application today. They accepted me into material engineering in USM which is pretty good considering the probability of getting into USM is very small. However, I've already paid RM16290 to IMU and now I have to make a choice whether to go for Pharmacy or Engineering.I'll sum everything down for you guys...hopefully you guys can give me some comments.
Pharmacy
Cons
First of all, the fees are of course much more higher....around RM34000 a year not including books, accomodation, food and oth living expenses. Its all the way in KL so I'll be far away from the comfort of my home. the lectures willl be tougher, and even the medicine professor there said that it can be tougher than studying medicine. I'll have to serve the government for 3 years...a drag huh.
Pros
Its a good university, with satisfying facilities,a convenient place to stay. When I graduate, I'll already have a job since I have to work with the government and even aft that I'll already have some hospitals wanting me to work for them as IMU students for Pharmacy have this agreement thingy with private hospitals. And of course, the name 'pharmacist'....wow...has a ring to it don't you think?
Material Engineering
Cons
Not really sure how the lecturers are like in public Unis. From what I heard, the lecturers are a bit ditzy, they teach some stuff in Malay and don't really know English....well, you know what kinda lecturers I'm talking bout...mine was in USM, she said some of the people there are biased.Next,I'll graduate as an engineer which I have to work in factories...meaning to say I cant be my own boss. And right now, I don't really know what material engineering is about but my god sis is in it and she's earning quite a lot.I plan to ask more bout it.I'm sure some of you reading this might not really knwo what it is either...yea.....by the name...smth to do with materials but what exactly?
Pros
It costs lesser than gng to IMU thats for sure...around RM300 a year. Its nearer to home since my campus will be in Nibong Tebal, Seberang Perai.Yea Ru, you come over to penang island to study whereas I might be gng over.As I've said my godsis is doing quite well and engineering is also a good career...one of the professionals.USM is quite a well known Uni and is one of the best in Malaysia where everbody would want to go to.Those in Form 6 that is.
There ya have it.What do you ppl think? I'm prety ok at Maths and Physics, my Chemistry is alright...so bot of the choices above are ok with me. But the problem is I don't know which one I'm more interested in.

Happy For Now
Today has been a great day for me one that went rather well. I woke up around 9. Had a really good dream....hehe but I'll keep the content a secret. (eh hem, my boy boy might get a little upset if he knows see).
I switched on the com, found out that my sister has taken out the GUNDAM Seed Destiny cds for me to watch. Had eggs and milk for breakfast while watching GUNDAM.Sigh...conflict between humans can be pretty amusing but resulting in war is not.But what the heck, the guy is a cutie.Dad duly dragged me down to work as i've sworn to work for him since getting my laptop which I love to bits right now.
He said i can stop work early provided I can finish his income tax stuff for him. I groaned inwardly when i remembered the amount of work left. Surprisingly, my uncle has already helped me done some of it so it ain as bad as i thought it would be. I finished compliling all his bills and receipts. Had a break around 1. A small one, then dad took the whole family out for lunch at this new place.Dad was in a jolly good mood so the meal was fairly entertaining. He made us laugh by saying stupid things. for instance, how he can live without his wife, how she inspires him, being his branch of support.....and etc......aww.....sweet you might think. But aft all that, he told her to pay for the meal as he had left his wallet at home...typical guy behaviour to praise you when they want smth.
I got back to work at 2.30.But played neopets while doing some account stuff.Hehe...and ended up calculating wrongly. Boy, you should have seen my dad's face...he tot he profited a lot last month but i made the account book looked as if he's on the verge of gulung tikar.
Finished work around 4.30 then went up,put on my glacial mud masque on my face. Then sat down and continue my GUNDAM....ooo...fighting here and there...a little romance thrown in...some humour..just my cup of tea.
Then went down took a bath....was walking out of the bathroom when i heard my dad yelling for my sister and I.I peeked out of the window at the same time as my sister and said "Yes, oto-sama?"He saw I was just wrapped in a towel and snapped at me "You crazy ar!Go put smth on!"
Once dressed, got down and went out for dinner. Was drizzling so i asked alvin not to come down and that I'll see him tmr.He said see how. But after a while, he came whizzing by on his bike, a little wet but otherwise wearing that cheeky smile.Went to Prangin with him, was kinda happy to see him.Joking with one another, teasing, pinching...hehe...well...things got a little too mch when I pinched his ...................................(puh please...no where at his privates just one little push button on his chest where it can be seen through his shirt.Hehe.)
Managed to buy a cute small optical mouse for my laptop.Dad said i can keep the change..hahaha..so I have an extra RM11 to spend this week! Hehe....so thats why i said today is a good day for me...hope tmr is a better one.

Should I be Thankful to have ppl close to me?
First of all, let me define ppl close to me in my vocabulary.People who are close to you are people whose opinion matters to you, people that you care most for and people who make you feel that you belong.
We have come across many emails, forwarded msgs..etc..to tell us to appreciate the people around us, that its them who makes life worthwhile. They are the ones who installed faith is us, the one who tilt our chins up and say to us, "Don't worry, things will be just fine" whenever we are down. And deep down inside we feel grateful, thankful and a small glimmer of hope that things might not be so bad after all.
However what do we do when these ppl let us down? Who can we turn to nom that they are the cause of our pain? What can we say?
Yes my friends who are reading this. This is one of the irony life brings us. The one person who can lift you up into the sky, the only one that can give you the satisfaction no one else can, the one you can count on to be there, can also be the person to make you feel worse than any other living person in this world.
I have my fair deals with ppl like this.Betrayal of trust.Deception.You name it.Let me give you an example. Say your mother. The one person you thought understands you in a way no one else ever could. The one thing that you expect from her is trust. You would share most stuff with her.But yet, what you shared with her can also be used by her against you.
Do you know that the person who makes you smile the most can also make you shed tears more than anyone else? Don't believe it?I solemnly believe that everyone has encounter this kind of situation before....not yet probably but one day you just might.
Getting a friend is easy. Keeping them is also easy. Having a close friend is not that easy.Keeping them...well....you know what its like. Human beings can be hard to predict. So are the ones you call friends. As you grow older, when you mature in thinking, you'll realise that all you actually need is one close friend, the one who has never let you down, not intentionally. And thats more important than the cluster of friends who laugh and joke about with you but are never there when you need them.
So in conclusion, I jsut want to say that nothing in this world comes perfect. No one can make you feel at the top of the world without burying you in the ground once. Thats one fact that we have come to learn and accept. We can't do much about it..after all, we are humans. But we can try asking ourselves, have we done smth similar to others? Have we taken anyone for granted?Have we ever use anyone jsut for our own benefit?Have we make any contacts with a friend just to ask for smth and then to forget to call them when we no longer need anything?
No one knows what you're like....only you.

My Soon -To-Be "New' Home
I'm gonna be living in a HOSTEL
Alright...before you guys start hurling me questions like "What? How can you possibly stay in the hostel?" or "Are you out of your mind?" or "Are you kidding me?", let me explain ok?
Reasons why I chose to stay in the hostel :
1) I can make friends with oth new students..which the management of the hostel arranged so that all new BPharm students will be living together.
2)They provide furniture and some light cooking equipment, so for the time being I don't have to buy them yet.
3)There is a female warden who checks up on you everyday and when you get sick you can ask her to take you to the doc.
4)I get to mingle with ppl my age or probably in the same class whereas in private accomodation my housemates could be just anyone.
5)They will automatically pay for my water and electric bills so I need not worry bout them while I'm trying to settle down
Reasons why I'm not thrilled by living in the hostel :
1)There is a curfew and its at 10pm....why is it so freakin' early? How bout leisure time out with friends?
2)There is no internet line in the hostel. I have to walk to IMU and use its library where it opens til 10pm exactly the time of my curfew...and might I ask...wat if I need to do my assignment and I need to use the internet til l8r at night? have they thought of it?
3)The corridor and the staircase is kind aspooky where the lights are a little dim...i mean whats wrong with the structure of the building...why do we need to go up 2 flights of stairs before reaching the lift?I mean it is a pretty long corridor and at night i can only imagone it being dark and deserted...my mum's worried bout being mugged or confronted by a stranger...but I'm more concern bout meeting the dead-yet-alive beings.I need to go to a temple and pray and get some amulet or smth.....laugh all you want but my imagination has the tendency to run when i'm alone in dark deserted places.
So ppl...what do you think?pros and cons...

My Trip To KL
I went to KL last Friday. My sole purpose is to get to know IMU better..well can say I'm a little disappointed. It wasnt as impressive as I thought it would be but on the other hand, its not bad either.
Its a 5 (or is it 6) storey building. Fully air conditioned...a lot of lecture halls....this office that office...lol..lotsa hardworking-ready to piah(work hard) til death ppl. but the dress code is abit silly tho reasonable...no baby T...no jeans...no spagetthi stripes...i mean i practically have to cover myself up...aww...how to kao chai (pikat lelaki..Ruvy, the translation is for you)?
This medical student showed me around and telling me bout the place...he was really helpful and now I got his contact number+msn+email..so i hope that when I get there he can help me get used to the place.

Grumpy,Grouchy!
Well, ts the time of the month again just that it hasnt arrived yet, but will be here soon.I'm like so irritated right now and I don't even know whats the cause of it. For Kc who'reading my blog everyday, to answer your question yes,I'm like this every month so when you feel that I'm not my usualy self and I tend to get a little bit cole well, you know what's coming.
Just snapped at my Granny who was lecturing me about how girls should know how to cook lar, clean the house and waking up early.I mean come on lar...I've been waking up early for like13 years already non stop for every year. And right now I'm having smth like a break and i wake up at 9 smth 10 smth not too late i think.Pretty reasonable I guess. And bout cooking? I can do a little bit of this and that....and where did that girls shouldknow how to cook come from? What is this the 1800's? Might as well not persue a degree and get married a few years back rite...then I'll be feeding this brood of kids...sigh.
And here's my mum nagging and saying I should be teaching my sister and not go out often........for crying out loud, my sister is 17 if she cant study on her own and her future blows up its her own fault alright. I already tried teaching her and she just isnt interested.I mean her Water Margin is too important for her to sacrifice not plahying with it to do some studying. If she wants to screw her life by not being able to think for herself at this age...well......her lost! I'm fed up with my mum telling me I should do this do that just to get her to study.if she's so persistant go do it herself man.My sister is utterly hopeless and a stubborn computer games playing freak. smart, fast learner but she doesnt appreciate and make use of them whats the point? Her future..her business...her problem. When i already try my best and she dont give a damn why should I even bother anymore. As if I don't have problems of my own.

The Only Friend
The Dummy
In that forgotten part of town
Where wasted hopes and dreams abound,
A wrinkled man with life near end,
In hopes to have at least one friend,
Fashioned bits of wood and things
And made a dummy run by strings.
He sat alone for hours on end,
Conversing with his only friend
And found delight within the fact
That he controlled it's every act.
He told it how he never had
A chance, since all his luck was bad
Although he'd tried so to succeed -
The dummy nodded and agreed.
And how his journeys in romance
Had never given him a chance,
And wasn't it a crying shame
That he was always held to blame
When everyone knew, oh so well,
That life is but a living Hell,
Controlled by lust and power and greed?
The dummy nodded and agreed.
With patience that would rival saints,
That dummy sat through all complaints
And, with each little expert tug,
He'd droop his head or bow or shrug
And give some comfort to the man
Who held his lifelines in his hand
And helped to fill a lonely need
When he just nodded and agreed.
Senility increased with time
As did the old man's phantomime,
And feverish fingers pulled with glee
The dummy's dance of misery.
They never left each other's side
Until the day both stopped and died.
We found them lying, hand in hand,
The dummy - and his wooden friend.

President,Vice President and AJK respectively. I represented my school in the Recorder
playing competition for a number of years and I also represented my school in this
national Maths Quiz. Besides that, i am also the President of the Resource Room namely
The Board Of Librarians. I also represented my sports house in 4 x 100m as well as
the long jump....even though i'm rather small. (Laughs quietly)
D :Haha, yes you're rather petite. So why do you apply for Pharmacy?
S :Well, since young I'm interested in knowing why ppl get sick and how does the medicine
work. At first I would like to be a doctor so that I can know more but aft thinking bout it
aft SPM, I decided I wanted to do smth which is behind the scene you know, like a
pharmacist's job is to understand the nature of human body but yet knows more bout
drugs and their abilities.
P :I don't get it, what you're saying is opposing what you said in the first place. You're
Interested in curing ppl and the way to do it but you don't want to be a doctor?
D :No, what she meant was she wants to be a pharmacist because she wants to learn the
same stuff as doctors but she likes to work behind the scene not out in the open treating
ppl.
P :I see.Sorry for the misunderstanding.Tel me what qualities do you think a pharmacist
should have?
S : I think a pharmacist should be patient as the field of study is tough almost like that in
medicine.He/she also must be willing to work hard for being a pharmacist involves
long term studying as science and technologies advances and more types of drugs are
being discovered.
D : Here at IMU we don't spoon feed our students. Most of the time students have to be
independent. Why pick IMU in the frist place?
S :I am aware of that and it is similar to Form 6 where the teacher flips through 30 pages
in 40 minutes and expects you to know the entire 2 to 3 chaptersI'm prepared to self
learn as I'm already used to doing it in Form 6.and to answer your question, I'll have to
take us back in time to when i jsut recieved my results for SPM. That was the time I
decided I wanted to do Pharmacy. then i also decided to take F6. And then pops the
question on whether i should take Phy/Chem or bio/Clem. I opted with Phy/Chem
cause certain unis accept Phy students to take up Pharmacy. And if i don't do well in
STPM then at least i have a back up plan and I can do engineering to. So i need to scout
around to see which uni will accept me with Phy. And I heard bout IMu from my
friends and from education fairs. So I learned that IMU is quite a premier Uni in Kl
and you do accept Phy students and thats what made me decide to pick IMU.
D : Tell me something about youself that is not in the application form.
S :Err...well I do have this bad experience when i was younger in about Form 3. i used to
have this birth mark on my right cheek. And boys used to tease me and there was once
in a camp i attended Iw as the only one without a dance partner.I used to think guys are
mean. But aft I remove the mark I began to see things differently and with more
confidence.
P :So in future whenever you come across smth similar what do you think is the ebst way
to oversome it?
S :Based on what I've been through, i think it would be wish to laugh it off and to take it as
a joke. This way when they know you don't take them seriously they'll just drop it.
D :Thank you...that is very interesting. You may go now.
I got up thanked them and turned towards the door
P :Hold on a minute. This is a plastic bottle. Besides storing water what else can you do
with it?
S :(Oh shit) Well, you can always cut it into two and use it to plant smth just place some gel
into it.Or u can cut holes and try to make a flute.Or u can make a little lantern.
P :Anything else? (I hate him)
S : Err......
P :Its alright u can go.Thank you.

Just When I Thought Things Were Looking Up
My second anniversary with Alvin was on the 8th of May...it was a smashing day with lotsa fun, laughter and plenty of dirty jokes....but before you guys jump to any conclusions let me explain. We went for bowling with some of our friends namely Benjamin, Jaryn (Sara you know her),Marcia Lopez and her boy Sharanjit,Shalinee and Baljit and the both of us.The dirty jokes were all aimed at Jaryn and ol' Benny.
Alvin made lasagne for me...it was superb...manifique!!!! (Is it the correct spelling btw) and also chocolate truffles...all home made...awww...its incredibly sweet of him and i tot that therre is no way I can love any oth guy...maybe i cud you know one day have a Mrs. Tan title. -blushes-
Anywayz, my mum called me when she was out to dinner with her friends. And guess wat? She wanted Alvin's d.o.b.Apparently her one of her friend has this knowledge of numerology and can somewhat predict the future.
Here are the contents (Well most of it) :
Me
I'm a hot tempered person and if I get really mad, I'll screw just about whoever i wish without caring who....even if its my boss. She aslo said i'm a bookworm and I stress a lot whenever it comes to education. Nevertheless, she said in future whatever I do, it'll turn out well and I'll always get support be it from my colleagues,my boss or ppl who works under me.
My pesky sister
She's equally hot headed but with none of my ability to dare screw ppl. She's stubborn (I can see that long ago and I need no fortune telling for this) She's lazy and she hates studying (true) However when she grows up she'll be successful (Its not fair) but she must marry someone who is less successful for if not the marriage won't last...for my sister will be a proud woman.
Alvin and I
We are not suitable for one another..our element is opposing one another with me being threatened by him. According to her, he is of the Wood element while Earth is my element. She said that we are not destined to be together and that if we end up marrying I'll be controlled by him and i will have no free will of my own.
There ya have it ppl. What do you think?I gave it some thought and decided not to let it bothers me for I believe that wat we do in future are determined by us with the aid of God and his consent. I mean she cant possible ask me to interview every guy i like and see whether his element matches mine which is the element of Fire.
So Alvin, if you're reading this, don't worry bout it alright...have some faith and we'll see how things go. And yea, i forgot to tell you that she said that your career might not be great but in the end it'll turn up well.So don't give up.
